Unfortunately, I have seen only few rooms in Kuwait where reading room meets some minimum requirements of Radiology!
Among many sites in Kuwait, I've seen only few reading rooms which are free from ambient sun light?!
I think this is the time to think about those questions about PACS reading room.
- What is the effect of ambient light on Reading the film ? Can you control your sun light from going into reading room ?
- Is your chair level compliant with your monitors view angle?
- Is your desk design helps improving productivity and prevents from injuries?
- Is your monitor fit for the image studies you are reading ? Can you distinguish between a review monitor from a diagnostic monitor.
